Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination under our Terms of Service. We may act with or without prior notice when we believe a violation has occurred or may occur.
Applies to: Player accounts · Host and organizer accounts · Profile and community display content · Event listings and public community pages
1. Purpose
Mythic Gathering is a web application owned and operated by Mythic Gaming LLC, built for tabletop communities — casual play groups, leagues, hosted scenes, and events. These Community Standards describe the behavior and content we expect so discovery, registration, and community pages stay welcoming and appropriate for a broad audience.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or account termination under our Terms of Service. We may act with or without prior notice when we believe a violation has occurred or may occur.
2. Profile & display images
Your profile image, community logo, banner, and other display images visible on Mythic Gathering must be appropriate for all ages and suitable for a public community platform.
Do not use display images that include or promote:
- Sexually explicit, suggestive, or pornographic material
- Graphic violence, gore, or shock imagery
- Hate symbols, extremist imagery, or content targeting protected groups
- Illegal activity or instructions to harm others
- Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse toward an individual or group
- Misleading impersonation of another person, brand, or organization
- Spam, scams, or deceptive promotional imagery
Game-related artwork, community logos, league branding, and tabletop photography are welcome when they follow these rules. When in doubt, choose a neutral image or your community’s official branding.
Uploaded profile, community, and Life Counter player card images may be automatically scanned before publication to detect content that violates these standards. Images that fail moderation are rejected and are not shown on the platform.
3. Usernames & public names
Usernames and other public display names must be readable, respectful, and safe for a mixed-age community. They appear in registrations, standings, host tools, and communications across the platform.
Do not use names that:
- Contain slurs, hate speech, or demeaning language toward protected groups
- Sexualize minors or use sexually explicit wording
- Impersonate Mythic Gaming LLC staff, another user, or a real organization you do not represent
- Promote violence, self-harm, or illegal activity
- Exist primarily to harass, troll, or provoke other users
- Mimic official system or support account names in a confusing way
Lighthearted tabletop references are fine when they remain respectful. If your account is suspended for an inappropriate username, choose a new name that meets these standards before requesting reinstatement.
4. Conduct on the platform
Beyond images and names, you must not use Mythic Gathering to harass, threaten, or abuse other players or organizers; post spam or fraudulent listings; or misrepresent events, capacity, pricing, or refund policies.
Hosts remain responsible for their events, venues, and communications with registrants. Players remain responsible for how they interact with hosts and other attendees through tools we provide.
5. Enforcement
We may review reports, automated signals, or content visible on public pages. Depending on severity and history, we may warn you, require changes to your profile, suspend your account for a set period or indefinitely, terminate your account, or delete associated data.
Suspension limits sign-in and platform access until the suspension ends or an administrator reinstates your account. Termination permanently ends access and may remove associated data as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Serious or repeated abuse of any kind may restrict your use of other Mythic Gaming LLC platforms and products. No refunds are issued for suspended time or termination for abuse — see Account enforcement in our Terms of Service (/terms) and our Subscription & Billing Policy (/about/subscription-billing).
For full legal terms on suspension, termination, and refunds, see Account enforcement in our Terms of Service (/terms).
6. Questions & appeals
If you believe action was taken in error, or you need help updating your profile after a suspension, use Chat with support in the Support menu with your username and a brief description of the issue.
