Our story

We are here for the people around the table

The best events in tabletop are not about software. They are about showing up, trusting who is hosting, and belonging to something that outlasts a group chat thread.

Mythic Gathering is built by Mythic Gaming LLC for that feeling — a public home where local scenes can grow, from kitchen-table pods to league seasons and store communities people actually find.

MTG

Where we start

Magic is our first focus — Commander, FNM, leagues, and store communities polished before we stretch wider.

Free

For every player

Discovery and registration stay free for players. Hosts choose plans when they are ready to publish.

Local

Scenes first

Belonging happens in person. We build for the table down the street, not abstract global metrics.

More games ahead

Other TCGs and TTRPGs as communities grow — same home, tools that respect how each scene runs.

Scenes deserve more than scattered invites

We have all seen it: a great Commander pod lives in three different chats, a league event loses regulars because nobody knows which link is official, and a local game store does heroic work that never quite reaches the players down the road who would have shown up.

Mythic Gathering exists so community leaders have one durable place to publish — and so players have one trustworthy place to discover. We are not trying to replace the human part of tabletop. We are trying to protect it from getting lost between apps, spreadsheets, and forgotten Discord pins.

Community first — always

  • Belonging beats features

People join communities before they join platforms. We design for the moment someone new feels welcome — not for checkbox comparisons on a pricing grid.

  • Organizers are scene builders

The host who runs FNM every Friday, the college club that keeps Commander alive, the league director who tracks a season — they are the reason the scene exists.

  • Local is the point

Tabletop is irreplaceably in-person. Our job is to help people find each other nearby, return week after week, and build reputations players can trust before they walk in the door.

  1. 1

    Answer the weekly question

Players should open Mythic Gathering and know what is running near them this week — without digging through five chats.

  2. 2

    Free hosts to host

Community leaders spend less energy re-explaining logistics and more energy running events people talk about.

  3. 3

    Grow without outgrowing tools

Scenes start small and scale up — from a kitchen table to a store championship — on the same platform.

  4. 4

    Ship honest, not loud

We would rather release something real communities can rely on than chase feature lists that look good in a deck.

A movement of gamers who show up for each other

We want Mythic Gathering to be the place players check when they ask, “What is running near me this week?” We want community leaders to spend less energy re-explaining logistics and more energy running great events.

Long term, we are building an ecosystem where discovery, registration, and the event flow together — so your scene can start small and grow without outgrowing your tools. That work is patient. We would rather ship something honest than something loud.

Starting with Magic — growing with every scene

Our roots are in Magic: The Gathering — Commander at the kitchen table, FNM at the store, league seasons that give regulars something to chase. That is where we are focused today, because depth beats breadth when you are building tools people rely on every week.

We are not building Mythic Gathering for one game forever. We want a home for every kind of tabletop event — other trading card games, tabletop RPGs, and whatever your local scene picks up next. The platform should grow when communities ask for it, not when a roadmap slide says so.

That means expanding formats, event types, and app integrations as real hosts and players show up with new needs. Pokémon locals, Lorcana events, Warhammer at the LGS, D&D campaigns that meet monthly — same belonging, same discoverability, tools that respect how each table actually runs.

  • Magic today

Commander, Constructed, league play, and store communities — polished first so MTG hosts never feel like beta testers.

  • More TCGs tomorrow

As scenes onboard, we extend discovery, registration, and tournament tools for other card games without forcing every community into an MTG-shaped box.

  • TTRPGs & the long table

Campaign events, one-shots, and RPG meetups deserve the same public home and RSVP flow — adapted for how roleplaying groups schedule and show up.

Mythic Gaming LLC

Mythic Gathering is a product of Mythic Gaming LLC. We are a small team of tabletop people building in public — listening to hosts, stores, and players, and improving the platform as real communities use it. We sell organizer subscriptions and workspace tools to sustain the product; we do not sell event admission or charge players a service fee on top of host pricing.
