Private events and invite codes

When you set visibility to Private, the listing does not appear on Find Events, community browse, or Featured. Players cannot register until they redeem your invite code while signed in.

Mythic Gathering creates an invite code automatically for private events.

Where to copy or rotate the code

• Community HQ → Events — expand the private event row.
• Event setup, or the thank-you screen right after you publish.
• The event’s public page while you are signed in as the managing host.
• Event Run hub → Run — Private invite code next to pairings.

Sharing tips

• Share the code privately (Discord DM, email, group chat) — not only the event URL.
• Anyone with the public link can open the page, but registration stays locked until they redeem a code.
• Use Generate new code wherever hosts manage the invite to retire the old code.
• Streamer overlay never shows the invite code — keep sharing it off-stream.
