Accept payments
How players pay you for events — Stripe Connect, separate from your Mythic Gathering subscription.
Accept payments (`/host/manage/payments`) is only for player admission. Money goes to your connected Stripe account. Mythic Gathering does not hold that money and takes no cut of player admission.
Stripe still charges its own card processing fees on your connected account. See https://stripe.com/pricing for current rates — Mythic Gathering does not set those fees.
Your organizer subscription is billed separately under Plan & subscription (`/host/manage/account`). Do not confuse the two.
Steps on one page
- Connect Stripe — link the account that receives event admission.
- Complete business verification in Stripe — unlocks public venue map and business contact on Community settings.
- Enable host online payment — turn on online admission and choose a default registration mode.
- Acknowledge tax responsibility — confirm your organization handles taxes and refunds, and set refund / cancellation / payment instruction policies.
- Save settings when you finish the steps that need saving.
Plans
Online admission through Stripe Connect unlocks on League plans and above. Play Group hosts can still run free and pay-at-door events.
What players see
Checkout tells players who they are paying before they go to Stripe. Mythic Gathering does not support pasting an external payment link on an event — use Accept payments instead.
